Horn-tastic TV Show Themes (III)

From the world of Star Trek.

Science fiction and fantasy shows, and the French horn seem to go together like a hand in a glove. Of the many Star Trek series that have come and gone over the years, my favorite theme was for the Star Trek “Voyager” series. I never really watched the series much, but I would occasionally tune in just to listen to this theme.

The composer uses a nice range (some honking medium register stuff) and great stopped horn effects. The entire opening track is well-produced and the spaceship visuals are nicely rendered and timed.
