It has been a few months since I have written for Horn Matters; to sum it up, my energies have been distracted by a few things in my working life. The best writing effort that came from this distraction was a one-shot rant from the venerable Mr. Noodlefish, and so I thought it better to take a break before exploring that avenue any further.
Classified Ads
All this aside, I have been dutifully making technical updates in the background, including a most recent push to fix our Classifieds Ads.
At one point a WordPress update had broken the Classified Ads area, and for several months it remained a mystery as to why. Fortunately (as with horn-playing), diligent persistence can pay off and I was finally able to solve the problem.
Anyone who wants to post a horn for sale may now do so without worry.
News and Events
My co-founding colleague John has just finished updating the News and Events page. If we missed something, be sure to let us know and send a message.
A New Year
I would like to end this brief post with a belated wish for a Happy New Year to all our readers!
The beginning of a New Year is always a good time to reboot. School semesters begin and for many, the month of January is a milestone in terms of measuring progress and setting new goals. For myself and Horn Matters, I am looking forward to resuming a more regular schedule of article writing.
