Orchestral Experience Questionnaire

jimi hendrix biography 233x300 Orchestral Experience Questionnaire

Are you experienced?

This post is to help spread the word of great project related to the orchestral experience.

My name is Bruce Richards.  I am a professional horn player in the Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège in Liège, Belgium.  I have been working for the same orchestra for the past 19 years.

I have been reflecting about my profession and the systems that are used to join a symphony orchestra  and how that experience differs from country to country, or orchestra to orchestra.  I realized that there is really not a lot of information about the profession and how it functions.

Bruce Richards’ project is to collect information via a Microsoft Word questionnaire in order to document the process of joining an orchestra and on becoming a team member.

The outcome of this project could glean some very valuable information for the profession.
