Where the Horn Matters Fans Are
A number of things have been enjoyable for Bruce and myself in working on Horn Matters, and one in particular is knowing that we do have a group of readers that certainly follow us regularly. One block of those readers are following Horn Matters through Facebook which provides a very nice feed for our content.
A few very limited “insights” (their term) are available to us through Facebook to reflect on. Besides learning that almost half of our fans there are between the ages of 18 and 34 we also get insights as to their locations. The results might surprise you. The top ten countries, in order are
- United States
- Australia
- Spain
- Norway
- United Kingdom
- Italy
- Germany
- Canada
- France
- Taiwan
It is interesting that a couple large English speaking countries are somewhat down the list relative to others where English would be a second language. Moving on to the top six cities, readers will certainly be surprised what the number one city is in the United States and how far down the list they fall.
- Oslo
- Sydney
- Madrid
- Saint Louis
- Taipei
- Washington
So there it is. Actually, we are not sure what the stats mean really but there are for sure some large, English speaking cites in the world that you would think have a few horn players who might be interested in the content found at Horn Matters that are being beat out by Oslo, Sidney, and Madrid! Keep spreading the good word, and we thank all of you for your support for Horn Matters.
UPDATE! Sidney is, of course, and English speaking city! You are putting the northern hemisphere to shame. Very happy to see so many fans there and I am looking forward to the IHS Australia event this summer.
