Longevity and the Horn Player

Arizona has a regional IHS newsletter, Horn on the Range. The area representative recently asked area horn professors for their thoughts on the topic of longevity, as in playing the horn for many years. A version of my answer to this question is now posted as the “Tip of the Month” in The IHS Online, which touches on three areas that may need adjustment over time in relation to the aging process, specifically equipment, warm-up, and breathing. Check it out, and feel free to comment further here at Horn Matters.
