Hi,

Thanks for the review, and subsequent comments too.

Just a couple of responses:
1) The Significa is not unavailable - it's just that a handful of them are. Most are present.
2) To Chris T's point about instant updates, there is a mailing list for this purpose here: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/hpn_new_adverts/
One of the (many) things on my to-do list for the site is RSS feeds and twitter feeds.

Best wishes to all,

Robin.

I think a lot of take for granted the great service Hornplayer.net does! I have bought and sold nearly all of my horns and accessories via hornplayer.net and teh section listing is a great tool to get an idea of who is playing what and where.

It also goes without saying that this is basically the central place on the web to buy and sell horns and it is free (although I think a few $$ donation after thousands of $ sale is reasonable esp if they host your pics). Heck, many times ebay and IHS listings are nearly all double listings of something on hornplayer.net It is a great way to get an idea how much a horn is worth.

Wouldn't mind if there was an update to the site that allowed you to get updates as each horn is added, since the email updates that go out sporadically are often already out dated by the time enough horns are added to inspire an update. Nonetheless, the site is one of my favs:)

Good point about remembering names. In a new city or maybe even at a convention, it is always good to know who is who.

I also think the section listings should get a mention. It's always interesting to see what everyone plays on and not to mention it's a good tool to remember names.
