Christopher Cornford worked during ten years in Alexander factory in Mainz and now is during nine years making his own horns. Because of that Cornford horns details are similar to Alexander.

This man works really good, I went a few weeks ago to his factory in Münster to change a few things of my 103. Of course the model 3S of the video is a bit strange and cool, but his model 28 is really amazing, for me is one of the best horns now maybe better than Alexander, all horn players should try it!

Very interesting horn. The player gets an excellent sound from it, although I did notice that the first lower F# was indeed flat.

I like the concept of a compensating triple horn, with less tubing. It is my personal opinion that many full triples are too heavy, not only in weight but in response, especially on the low F side.

I admire those players of triple horns who negotiate all that plumbing successfully. Too much for me!

Unusual that his 1+2 combinations sounded a bit low - either he is cupping his hand or this horn has low 1+2 fingerings (?!)
