Baumann at 75


It came across the hornlist today that the great German horn soloist Hermann Baumann turned 75 today, and other sources online confirm today is the day! I was very influenced by his great recordings as a student and have had the chance to briefly meet him as well. Listen to some Baumann today in honor of his birthday–a great clip is below–and may he have many more.
