Update to June 12, 2009, A Small Retraction

A retraction to a post on the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra.

It has been brought to my attention through an outside source that the June 12, 2009 post “Phoenix Symphony Waterloo” contained imagery that could be misconstrued as meaning something else other than what was intended.

An image of Phoenix Symphony Orchestra CEO Maryellen Gleason holding a pig and Music Director Michael Christie dressed as a general were intended as a general, non-specific satire on the broader situation and were not in any way, shape or form intended as a direct or specific commentary on either Ms. Gleason or Mr. Christie.
