Photos of Lots and Lots of Antique Horns

The Horn-U-Copia site was recently redesigned, and as a part of their updates they now have databases of photos of all sorts of antique brasses. The instrument illustrated with this post for example is an Alexander single B-flat in the classic Sansone model with an A/stopping valve and an F extension. You can get to the index for all of the photos here, there are links from this same page to PDF versions of many catalogs, and below are just a few of the searches you can do:

Wagner tubas

There are photos of well over 200 mellophones for example. Site owner Kenton Scott was also the guest on episode 81 of The Mellocast where he discussed the history of the mellophone, well worth hearing if this is of interest.
