Backstage at the opera.
On the way to the pit, this caught my attention. Of course it refers to “supernumaries” – chorus members – on stage who add to the production much like scenery.
In my imagination however I wondered what was really behind this door? An exclusive and elite team of super heroes? Mutants? Or just a very, very polite group of men?
