Horn-tastic TV Themes Finale
From the golden age.
A terrible science fiction movie starring Sylvester Stallone and Sandra Bullock a few years ago had one interesting premise. The main character is unfrozen from suspended animation to find that the world has change significantly.
In one scene the two main characters are listening to the radio in their futuristic flying car. Stallone’s character is appalled to discover that radio music in the future consists of nothing but old TV shows themes. While Bullock’s character gleefully sings along to the Brady Bunch theme, Stallone’s character is aghast.
Funny.
Here is an oldie but a goodie, the theme to Robin Hood. It goes on for a whopping 2 minutes and 30 seconds – something absolutely unheard of today.
