Wild Wild West.
In the height of the Cold War/James Bond era, there were numerous copy-cat movies and television shows that involved secret agents and their gadgets. One unusual twist was Wild Wild West, a combination western and espionage television series. In a remake a few years ago, Wil Smith starred in the title role as Secret Service agent James West.
The theme music reflects this multiple-layered story with its mix of electric bass, harmonica and orchestra. The main melody features a very prominent horn line and a very catchy tune.
