Don’t Smile at the Brass
An new BBC program.
I hope this new show in the UK makes it the US, either on BBC America or on PBS. Given its high-brow nature (by typical American television standards) and its cast of mostly British celebs, it probably will not be seen here.

However, thanks to YouTube bits of it can be seen. By the looks of it someone pointed a video camera at a television so alas, the quality is not the best. But, I will not look a gift horse in the mouth as otherwise we will most likely not see this show in America.
Take a look at David Soul, an American actor best know for his role in “Starsky and Hutch,” conducting Barber’s Adagio for Strings. Be warned that (at least on my end) the volume on this is fairly loud. Be prepared to toggle the volume switch.
