Video: “The Lexicon of Clamology”
One of the most memorable presentations at IHS Denver was The Lexicon of Clamology by “Professor I. M. Gestopftmitscheist,” a session I had heard of but had never seen in person.
This video is the beginning of the best part of the presentation and gives the flavor of the session to be sure. Teaching horn this year especially it seems clams are on my mind a lot, as accuracy is a big key to success on the horn, at least from the perspective of any conductor.
