Cello Game/Horn Game

A friend sent a link to a cello game posted in the Berlin Philharmonic website that is worth a brief try: http://philharmoniker.web-feedback.de/index.asp

The game reminds me that there are brass teachers who speak in terms of bowings when thinking of the airstream. Also I am reminded that a few years after I graduated from IU Myron Bloom took a sabbatical leave to learn cello. Might be something for that list of things to do someday. Or maybe not. I doubt I will sound much better on a real cello than I do at the game above.

I have linked to it before, but the Kill the Horns game in the Krug Park Music site is also worth mentioning. While you are there check out Ken’s Jazz Lounge, a jazz horn book.

UPDATE: A couple more horn games may be found in the Ricardo Matosinhos website, a harmonic series game and a transposition game. UPDATE II: Please see his comment below for the current address of these games.
